The Kansas City Kings (KC Kings) Indoor soccer returns to Kansas City for it's third year to the Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL-Premier).
The KC Kings and all PASL teams play in eight to ten regional competitions in addition to the US Arena Open Cup. The champion of each region will
then compete in the PASL 2010 International Championship Weekend on 3/12/2010-3/15/2010 in San Diego, CA.
The Kansas City Kings are the defending PASL Premier Midwest Regional
Champs for the second consecutive year. In 2008/2009 statisically the Kings assembled the best
PASL Premier team in the country. Scoring 85 goals with just 17 against. No team scored more than 3 goals against the Kings, while they averaged over 10 goals a game.
Home matches will be played on Friday and Saturday Nights at the Kansas City Soccer Dome beginning in December 2009, with ticket prices ranging from
$2.00-$5.00.
Former MISL All Star and Comets defender Vlatko Andonovski
will return as Head Coach. "After finishing as the national runner-up last year we carry a large target on our backs, which we hope to have good fan support and faith to help us through those tough home games," said Andonovski.
KC Kings 2008/2009 Season Highlights:
- 8-1-1 Record in Midwest Division.
- Midwest Regional Champions (back to back).
- Member of the US Arena Open Cup Final Four
- Advanced to PASL International Finals (Las Vegas, Nevada).
- Finished as National Runner Up out of fifty-one (51) teams in final standings PASL International Finals.
