The Kansas City Kings (KC Kings) Indoor soccer returns to Kansas City as sophomore members to the Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL-Premier).
The KC Kings and all PASL teams play in eight to ten regional competitions. The champion of each region will then compete in PASL 2009 Winter League Championship Weekend on 3/13/2009-3/15/2009 in Stockton, CA.
Home matches will be played on Saturday Nights at the Kansas City Soccer Dome beginning in December 2008, with ticket prices ranging from
$2.00-$5.00.
Former MISL All Star and Comets defender Vlatko Andonovski
will return as Head Coach. "I'm looking forward to building on last year's great first season in the PASL, and giving the Kansas City fans a team to be proud of," said Andonovski.
KC Kings 2007/2008 Season Highlights:
- 8-0-1 Record in Midwest Division.
- Midwest Division Champions.
- James Katajwa named and participated in the PASL All Star Game (Stockton, California).
- Advanced to PASL International Finals (Fredericksburg, Virginia).
- Finished number six (6) out of fifty-four (54) teams in final standings PASL International Finals.
